In Chinese culture the numbers six, eight, and nine are considered to be lucky, so fingers crossed drinking these varietals will bring me some MUCH NEEDED good vibes in 2020.
689 Cellars is located in California’s breathtaking Napa Valley, and similar to the interwoven numbers in their logo, their wines reflect separate elements coming together into one balanced and harmonious whole. Namasté babes.
I’ve been drinking so much rosé recently - clearly in denial that it’s basically Fall – but I’m truly loving getting to try new reds now that the weather is cooling down. I mean there is nothing quite like cuddling on the couch with a bottle of wine and a pizza, right?
689 Cellars’ reds are not only delicious, but very affordable – especially if you are familiar with the Napa price points. Their “Devil’s Candy” red blend is under $30 with a deep purple color and notes of berries and dark chocolate. It’s probably my favorite of their line up… although the “Submission” Cabernet is a close second.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I adore small batch wineries, as well as the love and passion that goes into not only the grape growing process, but the wine making process as a whole. 689 Cellars emulates all the things I love about wine, and I cannot wait to break open another bottle!
